Depot Road Sportsfield Masterplan

The Better Cities Group were commissioned by Tweed Shire Council to develop a sportsfield masterplan for the greenfield Depot Road site. The masterplan is a visionary initiative designed to transform community recreation in partnership with local government and residents. Through extensive community engagement, the masterplan reflects the aspirations of the people it serves, delivering inclusive, future-ready sports facilities that promote active lifestyles and social connection. The project integrates cutting-edge urban design principles with a comprehensive sports infrastructure strategy, ensuring the precinct becomes a vibrant, multifunctional destination for all ages and abilities.

Developed by Better Cities Group, the masterplan balances environmental sustainability, accessibility, and long-term growth.
