Better Cities have worked closely with Gympie Regional Council and the Queensland Government over the last few years to strategically identify housing and employment lands for the Gympie region.

This has led to Gympie Regional Council securing $42million towards critical infrastructure from the Residential Activation Fund to unlock more than 5,300 homes. This funding will help deliver key upgrades such as water supply to support this growth.

Our services throughout this process included demand analysis, structure planning, infrastructure analysis and stakeholder engagement. We continue to partner with SMEC and Think Economics on the delivery of this project.
