Better Cities delivered the Gilgandra Green Space Strategy through a collaborative, evidence‑based process that combined on‑the‑ground site assessments with meaningful community engagement to understand how residents use and value their parks, open spaces and recreation areas.

The team undertook a full audit of existing green space assets, analysed demographic trends and participation patterns, and worked closely with Council staff, local groups and community members to identify priorities for improved amenity, accessibility and activation.
