Better Cities Group is partnering with Partnear and a dedicated industry and government participant working group to deliver the Benalla Future Economy Employment Precinct - an emerging, nationally significant manufacturing hub anchored by defense, advanced manufacturing and next‑generation clean‑industry capability.

Drawing on the precinct’s existing strengths, including defense manufacturing organisations, Thales and NIOA and LS Precast, the project establishes a coordinated framework for a world‑class industrial ecosystem powered by low‑carbon energy from large‑scale solar generation and future anaerobic‑digestion opportunities. The masterplan positions Benalla as a leader in sovereign manufacturing, circular‑economy innovation and freight‑efficient industry, ensuring that public and private partners can confidently invest in a precinct designed for long‑term national productivity, regional jobs and sustainable industrial growth.
