Better Cities delivered the Country Paradise Parklands Master Plan by grounding the entire process in deep, hands‑on community engagement and a clear understanding of how locals use, value and imagine the Parklands.

The scope combined extensive on‑site engagement with user groups, volunteers, event organisers, families, and neighbouring landholders; detailed spatial and environmental analysis of the 30‑hectare site; assessment of operational models, governance structures and activation potential; and a review of infrastructure, accessibility, and landscape character.

Through walk‑and‑talk sessions, pop‑up conversations, targeted stakeholder workshops and online feedback tools, Better Cities captured the lived experience of the Parklands’ diverse users and translated it into a practical, long‑term framework that identified priority upgrades, activation opportunities, partnership pathways and a cohesive vision for Country Paradise as a community‑led destination for recreation, events and environmental stewardship.
